More UFO activity over Leighton, UK

September, 25 2011

AFTER last week’s report concerning a reader who saw a strange, triangular-shaped object flying over the skies of Leighton, a couple have written to the LBO telling of their strange, close encounter on the same evening.

An email from a woman ,who only identified herself as ‘Christine’, said: “After reading the Observer this week and finding out that someone has seen what they think to have been a UFO, I can confirm that both my husband and I also witnessed this on Friday, September 9 between 11.30pm and midnight as we walked along the Woburn Road in Heath and Reach heading towards the direction of Leighton Buzzard.

“A bright orange light larger than an aircraft’s landing lights and travelling at a considerable speed passed over us heading in the direction of Milton Keynes. As it passed above us we were aware that it was very quiet, almost silent, it looked like the shape of a triangle with rounded corners and a number of bright orange lights.

Once there was a case when the governor of Kemerovo region Aman Tuleev offered cash prize to whoever catches the Yeti.

The conference will be attended by the famous scientists; biologists, anthropologists, geneticists, hominologists, bioinformatics from the United States, Canada, Sweden, China, Mongolia and Russia. This time the scientists will not only gather and discuss about this issue, but they will also plan to travel to the regions where Yetis thought to be living.

New York photographer unsure of diamond-shaped object

Could it be an aerial banner ad?  -Ed.

By Roger Marsh, UFO Examiner

September 24, 2011

A New York photographer shooting the new Freedom Tower from Manhattan’s Lower East Side submitted images of a diamond-shaped object that appeared in three frames shot at a fast exposure rate, according to September 23, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The photographer submitted three images.

“On closer inspection I noticed what appeared to be regular markings and windows on the craft,” the witness stated. “It had to be moving at an incredible rate of speed for it to have moved as far as it did give the frame rate it was captured at. It seems to be faintly emitting both blue and red light from the openings on its back area.”

Southern Lights from above- a spectacular view

From NASA.  Video of the Aurora Australis taken by the crew of Expedition 29 on board the International Space Station. This sequence of shots was taken September 17, 2011 from 17:22:27 to 17:45:12 GMT, on an ascending pass from south of Madagascar to just north of Australia over the Indian Ocean.

NASA update: Falling satellite — still waiting for re-entry confirmation. If debris fell on land (and that’s still a BIG if), Canada is most likely area.
NASA update: Falling satellite re-entry is expected between 11:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and 12:45 a.m., Sept. 24, Eastern Daylight Time (3:45 a.m. to 4:45 a.m. GMT). During that time period, the satellite will be passing over Canada and Africa, as well as vast areas of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans. The risk to public safety is very remote.
